Polk District Court results for Oct. 26

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016 with Judge Pete Knight presiding, 151 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Robin Lane Armfield was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Armfield was fined $40 and court costs.
Jason Dwayne Ballard was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Ballard was to pay court costs.
Byron Allan Born was convicted of resisting public officer. Born was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served.
OD Burse was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Burse was to pay court costs.
Bobby Ray Canipe was convicted of rear seat belt violation. Canipe was fined $50.
Oriville Allen Doyle was convicted of a probation violation. Doyle was sentenced to 90 days in jail.
Alma Rosa Farrias was convicted of no operator’s license. Farrias was to pay court costs.
Erin Renee Frantz was convicted of failure to notify DMV of address change. Frantz was to pay court costs.
Justin Miles Gamble was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Gamble was fined $50 and court costs.
Mitchell Sterl Harris was convicted of level two driving while impaired. Harris was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, seven days in jail, 48 hours of community service, a $400 fine and court costs.
Terry Dale Huey was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Huey was to pay court costs.
Robert Vance McCraw was convicted of second-degree trespassing. McCraw was sentenced to five days in jail with credit for time served.
Karl Ansel McMillan was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. McMillan was to pay court costs.
Kimberly Ann Painter was convicted of failure to notify DMV of address change. Painter was to pay court costs.
Clinton Russell Pickett was convicted of rear seat belt violation. Pickett was fined $100.
Miguel Steve Rodriguez was convicted of simple possession of schedule II controlled substance. Rodriguez was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.
Tiffany Dawn Seguna was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Seguna was fined $100 and court costs.
Lily Tamar Shoff was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Shoff was fined $100 and court costs.
Timothy Neal Tillie was convicted of rear seat belt violation. Tillie was fined $10.
