The fall 2016 Polk County Public Library book sale is this week, starting on Thursday at 9 a.m. Books in all categories from sports to fiction to biographies will be sold at the library in the community room and, for the first time, from inside the Bookmobile. Volunteers like Joan Roseberry, right, began setting up the sale Monday morning, bringing in books for sale by the truck and carload to be sold. The sale continues through Saturday.
