Due to the overwhelming amount of interest in the multipart documentary “American Epic,” the Tryon International Film Festival (TRIFF 2016) will be offering a general public screening of the first installment at the Tryon Theatre on Friday night, Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. for a ticket price of $15. Arrangements are also underway to have one of the filmmakers introduce the first segment entitled “American Epic – The Big Bang.”

Robert Redford is the executive producer and narrator of this wonderful production which highlights the very beginnings of the America’s modern recording industry. Please note: this is a single screening ticket for the public.
