This Saturday we had our first hike of the year at the Green River Cove in Saluda, N.C. The weather was lovely and the trek was even lovelier. After wandering for a while along the trail, we came to a gorgeous swimming hole. The warm, early autumn air made the cool water perfect for splashing in. Some of the hikers even swam a bit! It is amazing that such a beautiful spot is tucked away right in our backyard. We all had an amazing time enjoying the Saturday morning, and hopefully that is a sign of the many good hikes we will have in the coming year. Thanks to everyone who joined us, and keep climbing!
