Landrum’s lopsided (56-9) football win over West-Oak on Sept. 16, put the Cardinals at 2-2 for the young season. This evening they take that record to Walhalla, where the Razorbacks are also 2-2.
Last Friday, Blacksburg turned back Walhalla, 28-11. Quarterback Chris Meadors will run the Razorbacks’ offense. Cardinal weapons include quarterback Turner Ussery, (#3), running back/receiver Kericho McAuley (#14), running back/linebacker Wrenn Pierce (#32) and linebacker John Martinez (#25).
Last week, the Cardinals combined their regular effort with great execution to bury West-Oak. This evening, they’ll need to perform at that level to make their ride back to Landrum seem shorter.
