The third annual Taste of Our Carolina Foothills, A Food and Wine event is just around the corner. This year’s event takes place on Sunday, Sept. 18, from 1-5 p.m. and will be held at Foothills Equestrian Nature Center (FENCE).
Join over 50 restaurants, caterers, wineries, craft brew-makers, distilleries, specialty food artisans, farmers, bakeries and more in one location for an afternoon which will highlight the best the Foothills and surrounding areas have to offer. This is a rain or shine event.
There are two tiers of tickets this year. General admission is presale and at the door. Newly added VIP tickets are available pre-event only. Added benefits of the VIP ticket include entrance into the event one hour early, 12 p.m., a separate parking area and check-in, plus other perks.
Tickets are available online through eventbrite.com, at Stone Soup Restaurant and Southside Smokehouse in Landrum, at Overmountain Vineyards in Green Creek and at La Bouteille in Tryon and Greer.
Our Carolina Foothills is a 501(c)3 whose purpose is educating the public on the small towns of Landrum, Tryon, Columbus and Saluda through marketing campaigns and events that highlight our Carolina Foothills’ uniqueness. Our tagline, “Four Towns, Two States, One Great Experience!” reinforces that state lines do not matter here in the Foothills. Earlier plans were made to hold the event in downtown Landrum, S.C. but after learning that S.C. laws would prohibit our local wineries from participating, we made the decision to change locations.
