In July 2016, the Landrum Area Fire and Rescue District responded to 19 calls, including: two auto accidents, one cave-in/extrication, four fire/smoke alarms, two Haz-mat/leaks/odors, one lines down/arcing, three medical calls, two structure fires (outside buildings), two residential structure fires and two trash/woods/grass fires.
