Mary T. Buchtel and Wayne G. Buchtel

A joint funeral service was held June 13, 2016 at Forest Hills Cemetery, Canton, Ohio for Mary T. Buchtel and Wayne G. Buchtel. They had resided in Tryon, N.C. since 1988. Mary passed away December 24, 2015 and Wayne followed the love of his life on May 29, 2016. Wayne served 26 years in the United States Air Force and received Military Rites by the Honor Guard of VFW Post 44 Canton, Ohio.

Mary is survived by family in the United Kingdom. Wayne is survived by sister, Norma B. Beck of Akron, Ohio and a number of nieces and a nephew. Wayne was predeceased by parents Clyde E. and Nevada Johns Buchtel, step-mother Minnie Jones Buchtel, brother Dale Buchtel and sister Mary Buchtel Marker.
