Don and Betsy Jones of Tryon Estates celebrated 70 wonderful years of marriage on July 2 at Tryon Estates. They were married in Pittsburg, Pa., on July 2, 1946, and have three children plus grandchildren. Don served in the Merchant Marine in World War II. They recently had a family reunion at the Outer Banks and are blessed with a loving family and many friends at Tryon Estates. (Submitted by Ralph Collins)
