Officers Cody McIntyre and Scott Hamby of the Columbus Police Department attended Wednesday’s driver’s education session at Polk County High School to facilitate a drunk driving and driving under the influence of marijuana simulation for the 58 students of the driver’s education course this week. Each student used the goggles provided by the police department and the Mental Health Task Force in Polk County to simulate being under the influence of drugs and alcohol while driving golf carts around the school parking lot.
