During the month of April 2016, the Saluda Police Department answered 76 calls for service.

There were three state citations, eight city citations, 28 warning tickets issued, one accident, one damage to property, 13 welfare checks, four alarms and three open doors.

There was also one DOA (dead on arrival), five domestic calls, five suspicious people and one prowler.

Officers completed 1,653 business checks, 102 church checks, 104 house checks and patrolled 3,160 miles.

The police department did one road check with arrests for flee to elude arrest and driving while impaired.
