Landrum men’s, women’s soccer finish season

Landrum’s men’s soccer team defeated Woodruff, 4-0, in the first round of the 2A state playoffs. They then traveled to Indian Land, where the number one seed turned back a great Cardinal effort, 2-0.

The men’s team finished the season at 10-7, placing third in region play.

Traveling to Saluda, S.C., the women’s team pulled a mild upset by defeating the Tigers, 3-1. Next, they took second-seeded Southside Christian to overtime, before losing, 4-2. The women finished the season at 8-9, losing the tiebreaker for the region title.
