If you were feeling the need for speed Saturday, Landrum’s Trade Ave. and the Horsepower Car Show was the place to be. Or perhaps you are more of an antique car and truck admirer? Or maybe you just wanted to shoot the breeze with fellow collectors and enthusiasts. With more than 500 attendees, according to the Landrum Area Business Association, the inaugural car show kicked off the Week of the Horse in the Foothills, drawing 169 cars and raising $2,400 for Therapeutic Riding of Tryon (TROT) and Landrum’s Backpack Ministry.
