SC primary voters choose Clinton Saturday

In the 2016 Democratic Presidential Preference Primary held Saturday, Feb. 27, Hillary Clinton was declared the winner early in the evening by a large margin. Bernie Sanders placed second, while Willie Wilson took third and Martin O’Malley took fourth.

In the statewide analysis below, voter turnout averaged 12.72 percent with 370,719 votes cast.
