Nearly 150 community members attended the Tryon Kiwanis Club’s annual chili dinner on Saturday, Feb. 6 from 5-7 p.m. at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Cross on Melrose Ave. Chili, cornbread, beverages and desserts were served at the Western-themed dinner to the backdrop of live music. Numerous volunteers helped out, waiting tables for the guests and providing cleanup support afterwards.
