This Saturday, Nov. 28, around the country is often observed as Small Business Saturday. Polk County residents are encouraged to support your local merchants and crafters. Come celebrate those individuals and local businesses that support the local economy by shopping with them. It was estimated that $14.3 billion nationally was spent celebrating the small independent business on this day in 2014.

Why not shop here in Polk County and support your neighborhood businesses like never before? One way to support your local artist and crafters is to shop the Holiday Fair being held at Stearns Gym on Saturday, Nov. 28 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Music will be performed through out the day including world-class dulcimer players, a local drumming group and more. Food will be available and includes a professional baker who will have artisan baked goodies and the Mobile Global Bistro food truck.
