John Floyd Jones, 89, of Mill Spring, N.C. passed away Monday evening, Nov. 16, 2015 at LaurelWoods, Columbus, N.C.
Born in Polk County, N.C., he was the son of the late John Birch Jones and Hattie Gibbs Jones. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, his twin brother, Boyd Jones, Claude Jones, Edith Kelly, Gladys Milam, Louise Bolt and Mildred Pope.
Surviving are his nieces and nephews, Sharon Lindquist, Dinah Ramsey, Paul Jones, Lynn Crocker, Jack Pope, Tony Pope and Gayle Kyle.
A private family service will be held.
