Gary Steven Greene, 46, of Columbus, N.C. passed away on Oct. 20, 2015.  He

was son of the late Edward Steven and Frieda Dowda Greene and husband of

Monica Cothran Greene.

He was a member of Landrum First Baptist Church and a member of the Landrum

Lions Club.  He was Immediate Past District Governor for the South Carolina

Lions. He was an Eagle Scout and was a member of the Order of the Arrow.

He was a graduate of Wake Forest University and was co-owner of Carolina

Trailers.

He is survived by his wife, Monica Cothran Greene; a sister, Suzanne Duling

of Philadelphia, Pa.; his grandmother, Blanche Greene of Landrum; his uncle

and aunt, Larry and Melinda Greene of Aiken, S.C.; and cousins, Caroline Day

(Coker) of Aiken and Heather Bishop (Henry) of Spartanburg.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, 2015 at

Petty Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at

Landrum First Baptist Church conducted by Pastor Todd Cothran. Burial will

be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
