Despite the intermittent downpours on a soggy fall weekend, the long-anticipated grand opening Saturday, Sept. 26 of the Tryon Historical Museum on Maple St. drew a steady stream of curious history buffs and interested citizens of the area. The opening also coincided with the Town of Tryon’s celebration of the 100^th anniversary of the Tryon Toy Makers and Wood Carvers. Pictured is the room housing the equestrian display.
