Thermal Belt Outreach Ministry (“Outreach”) is accepting applications for Thanksgiving and Christmas assistance from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The last day to apply for Thanksgiving assistance is Nov. 12. The deadline to apply for Christmas assistance is Nov. 19.

All applicants will need to provide proof of Polk County residency. Also, applicants will need to show a copy of their card for foodstamps, Medicaid, Work First, a benefit letter or to provide proof of income for everyone in the home.

Outreach is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1991. The organization’s mission is to provide compassionate assistance to Polk County residents who are unable to provide for their basic life needs.
