Polk County District Court results for Sept. 16

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015, with Judge T. Mack Brittain presiding, 71 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Jessica Callebs Clark was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia, possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce, possession of schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Clark was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Joel Wesley Creech was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Creech was fined $50 and court costs.
Anthony Darnell Gary was convicted of resisting public officer. Gary was sentenced to one day in jail with credit.
Steven Thomas Jenkins was convicted of failure to maintain lane control. Jenkins was fined $30 and court costs.
Angelina Joann Lilly was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Lilly was fined $40 and court costs.
Billy Joe Pruitt was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Pruitt was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Lucas Travis Ravan was convicted of intoxicated and disruptive and no smoking violation-restaurant/bar. Ravan was sentenced to three days in jail with credit.
Alfred Sellers III was convicted of intoxicated and disruptive and failure to appear on misdemeanor. Sellers was sentenced to eight days in jail with credit.
Kathleen M. Kennedy was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Kennedy was fined $40 and court costs.
Otis Terrell Tisdale was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Tisdale was to pay court costs.
Jonathan Chris Wilson was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Wilson was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation and court costs.
