Mr. Wayne Buchtel celebrated his 100^th birthday on July 27, 2015 with his lovely wife Mary, and friends and staff of LaurelWoods Assisted Living. Mr. Buchtel is originally from Ohio, but was stationed in Austria while in the Air Force and met his bride of 52 years in London. They lived in Germany for many years where Mr. Buchtel built boats. Wayne has always been interested in music; he played the guitar and string bass and also repaired musical instruments. He is most happy with Mary by his side.
