In Polk County District Court on Monday, July 27, 2015, with Judge Athena Brooks presiding, 105 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Rube Avellaneda-Molina was convicted of failure to notify DMV of address change. Avellaneda-Molina was fined $52 and court costs.

Kaleigh Nicole Busbee was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Busbee was fined $40 and court costs.

Robert Bryan Davis was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Davis was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, one day in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.

James Edward Hammonds was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Hammonds was fined $70 and court costs.

Mandy Michelle King was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. King was fined $70 and court costs.

Adam Lee Lyda was convicted of simple possession of schedule IV controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Lyda was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

Gary Lyle Marcum Jr. was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Marcum was fined $70 and court costs.

Matthew S. Phillips was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Phillips was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, one day in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.

Leslie Hardin Powell was convicted of open container after consumption of alcohol first. Powell was fined $100 and court costs.

Gerald Carlis Puckett was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Puckett was fined $70 and court costs.

Jennifer Lynn Wichmann was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Wichmann was fined $91 and court costs.

Anthony Bryan Williams was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Williams was fined $93 and court costs.

Latasha Ann Williams was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Williams was fined $40 and court costs.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Brian Fred Beatty was convicted of failure to notify DMV of address change. Beatty was fined $50 and court costs.

Fredrick Marquis Camp was convicted of failure to notify DMV of address change. Camp was fined $50 and court costs.

Joshua Sentrell Cole was convicted of speeding 44 mph in a 35 mph zone. Cole was fined $30 and court costs.

Colleen R. Dellinger was convicted of consume alcohol by 19/20 year old. Dellinger was fined $25 and court costs.

Janice Miriam Fishman was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Fishman was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Lazaro Rafael Gunturiz was convicted of two counts of failure to notify DMV of address change. Gunturiz as fined $50 and court costs.

Joel Martin Hirsh was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Hirsh was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Harry Truman Kelly was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Kelly was fined $40 and court costs.

Hunter Allen McBrayer was convicted of possess natural bait in trout waters. McBrayer was fined $25 and court costs.

Andrew Thomas Yost was convicted of resisting public officer and possession of methamphetamine. Yost was sentenced to 24 months supervised probation, 22 days in jail with credit for time served, 48 hours of community service and court costs.
