Cookie Smith Rainey, 66, of Campobello, died July 30. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Pastor and Evangelist Terry Joe Rainey; one beloved daughter, Shannon Frances Sally Rainey Hood (Chris) of Inman, S.C.; one sister, Libby Smith Worley (Randy) of Boiling Springs, S.C.; two brothers, Clinton Richard Smith, Jr. (Marie) of Anderson, S.C. and James R. “Jim” Smith of Spartanburg, S.C.; a sister-in-law, Lynda Chapman Lowe of Spartanburg, S.C.; five nephews; three nieces; 13 great-nephews; six great-nieces; and several first cousins. Services were held August 1.
