Annie Belle Olmstead, age 83 of Tryon, N.C. died Wednesday, July 15, 2015.

Mrs. Olmstead was born June 23, 1932 in Weaverville, N.C. and lived there until 1955 when she married Kenneth. For 20 years she lived many places with Kenneth while he served in the military. They lived in Russellville, Arkansas for 32 years before moving to Tryon. She had resided at Aston Park Health Care Center for the past 1 and ½ years. Mrs. Olmstead was a member of Lynn First Baptist Church in Lynn, N.C.

Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Kenneth E. Olmstead; daughters, Pam Lammers and husband Keith of Tryon and Suzie Manning and husband Steve of Saluda; sons, Mike Caldwell and wife Ruth also of Saluda, Richard Olmstead and wife Diane and Allen Olmstead and wife Latrisha all of Edmond, Okla.; 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 20, 2015 in the Chapel of West Funeral Home. Burial will be in West Memorial Park.
