In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, June 17, 2015, with Judge Emily G. Cowan presiding, 168 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Alisha Jennifer Adams was convicted of speeding 98 mph in a 65 mph zone. Adams was fined $98 and court costs.
Raymond C. Bennefield was convicted of impaired equipment. Bennefield was fined $40 and court costs.
Billy Joe Clayton II was convicted of open container of alcohol violation. Clayton was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day.
Rashawn T. Cunningham was convicted of two counts of misdemeanor larceny. Cunningham was sentenced to two years supervised probation, $275 in restitution and court costs.
Walter J. Drake was convicted of impaired equipment. Drake was fined $40 and court costs.
Tyler Davis Estes was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce and possession of drug paraphernalia. Estes was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Yehor Oleno Fedchenko was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Fedchenko was fined $91 and court costs.
James Edward Ford Jr. was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Ford was fined $90 and court costs.
Glen Dale Gowder was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Gowder was fined $94 and court costs.
Kipling Wilson Lindsey was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Lindsey was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Ryan Gregory Lutz was convicted of speeding 84 mph in a 70 mph zone. Lutz was fined $102 and court costs.
Alexandra B. Mann was convicted of level four driving while impaired. Mann was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 48 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Cleveland M. McNeill was convicted of failure to heed light or siren. McNeill was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Manuel Gonzalez Mora was convicted of speeding 121 mph in a 70 mph zone. Mora was fined $121 and court costs.
Houston Dale Mullinax was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Mullinax was fined $30 and court costs.
Johanna Rose Nevins was convicted of impaired equipment. Nevins was fined $40 and court costs.
Dustin Dale Reece was convicted of simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance. Reece was fined $50 and court costs.
William Arthur Siler was convicted of simple possession of schedule III controlled substance and reckless driving to endanger. Siler was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
James Brian Towne was convicted of possession of open container/consumption of alcohol in passenger area. Towne was fined $10 and court costs.
