More than 300 runners signed up for the Race for the Fallen Glow Run 5K in Columbus Saturday night. With the Polk County Courthouse serving as both the starting and finish line, runners, walkers, babies in strollers, and a dog or two, donned vibrant shirts and glow sticks for the nighttime run. The Columbus Police Department organized the second annual run, with proceeds benefiting the Police Benevolent Foundation. Officer Chris Ruff and Chief Chris Beddingfield, pictured on motorcycles, led the runners from the starting line. More photos are on the Bulletin’s Facebook page. (Photo by Claire Sachse)
