Hiker sustains minor fall at Big Bradley Saturday

A Los Angeles man was able to walk from the scene on his own, after a minor fall near Big Bradley Falls, outside Saluda, on Saturday, March 21.
According to Nick Edwards, officer on the scene, the patient, the host of a film crew for the show Trip Flip, fell some six feet, while rappelling near the falls.
Edwards said that when rescue personnel arrived, individuals were accompanying the patient on the main trail between the falls and Holbert Cove Road.
Rescue personnel transported him to Pardee Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Personnel from Saluda Fire and Rescue, Polk County Rescue, Polk County Emergency Management Services, Tryon Fire Department, Columbus Fire Department and Henderson County Rescue responded to the scene.
