During the month of February students and staff at PCMS focused on college and career readiness. Students were given information about different jobs and how much college is needed for those careers. Peer helpers gave morning announcements throughout the month that focused on dreams, goals and future choices.
On Friday, March 6, to wrap up the activities for the month’s focus, students and staff wore the college shirt of their choice. Mr. Utz, PCMS principal, held a competition to see which college was the most popular among the students at PCMS. The winning college was the University of North Carolina.
