Polk County’s softball team wasted no time posting its first win, in its first game of the season, as the Wolverines topped Avery, 6-3, at Columbus on Wednesday afternoon, March 4. On Thursday afternoon, both Asheville School and steady rain are scheduled to arrive at Columbus. On Monday, March 9, the Wolverines are slated to host Tuscola.
