Polk County District Court results for Feb. 4

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015, with Judge Mack Brittain presiding, 133 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Jamie Zane Brazell was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Brazell was fined $30 and court costs.
Raymond Daniel Croon was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Croon was fined $50 and court costs.
Justin Daniel Delaney was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Delaney was sentenced to five days in jail with credit for time served.
Ryan Travis Grigg was convicted of simple possession of schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Grigg was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $250 fine and court costs.
Kathleen Marrie Hanley was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Hanley was sentenced to three days in jail with credit.
Tooba Malik was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Malik was fined $152 and court costs.
Terry Lee McEntire was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. McEntire was to pay court costs.
Keisha Dacquan Mosley was convicted of impaired equipment. Mosley was fined $40 and court costs.
Matthew Dwight Ramsey was convicted of simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia. Ramsey was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Kevin Patrick Spahn was convicted of impaired equipment. Spahn was fined $40 and court costs.
Kristy Lynn Thomas was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Thomas was fined $30 and court costs.
Christopher A. Turner was convicted of impaired equipment. Turner was fined $40 and court costs.
