Jesse Blanton

On Feb. 7, 2015, Jesse Blanton, of Brooklyn Park passed away at the Gilchrist Hospice Center in Towson. Mr. Blanton was born on Nov. 8, 1942, in Mill Spring, N.C. to Binam and Florence Blanton.

He served our country for over 30 years as an electrician in the National Guard, during which time he also served four years in the Navy.

Jesse loved working with his hands and enjoyed restoring old cars. He enjoyed watching the Oakland Raiders, going to yard sales and was always looking for a “good deal.”

Mr. Blanton is survived by his children, Roric Blanton and his wife Kimberly, Keith Blanton and Kevin Blanton and his wife Meghan; his grandchildren, Elias and Rory Blanton; and his siblings, Mildred Hartley, Cora Ingles, Gayther Blanton, Grant Blanton, and Roger Blanton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Luther Blanton and his sisters, Margie Lee and Dot Simpson.
