Alfred “Kirk” Foster of Tryon, N.C. passed away on Feb. 1, 2015 at his home.

Born Feb. 9, 1959, he was the son of Martha G. Foster and the late Fred D. Foster.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Deborah Hall (Donnie), of Spartanburg, S.C.; two brothers, Ricker Foster (Judy) of Tryon, N.C. and Dennis Foster (Allison) of Union, S.C.; a special friend, Patricia Turner of Tryon, N.C.; nephew Scott Thompson of Mauldin, S.C.; nieces Kimberly Wiseman of Tryon, N.C. and Samantha Wray of Hendersonville, N.C.

A memorial service is planned for Feb. 14, 2015 at 4 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist church in Columbus N.C.
