Judith Gray Chapman

Judith Gray Chapman, 73, of 345 Bryant Rd., Spartanburg, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 3, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Judith was born in Baltimore, Md. on Feb. 26, 1941, a daughter of the late Gladys Ophelia (Ridings) and Lloyd Eugene Gray.
She was retired from the trucking industry and was a member of Word of Life Fellowship in Roebuck.
She was a member of the 1959 graduation class of Green Creek High School, Green Creek, N.C.; and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.
She is survived by a son, Dana Bridges of the home; two sisters, Janice Horne and Glenda Noronha, both of Spartanburg; one grandchild, Kayla Bridges; and one great grandchild, Caleb Newman.
A memorial service will be held at Seawright Funeral Home at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 6, with Rev. Forrest Ridings officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spartanburg Soup Kitchen, 136 South Forest St., Spartanburg, S.C. 29306.
