The 2015 Landrum varsity and junior varsity baseball teams are hosting an Alumni Game Day for former Landrum baseball players on Sat. Feb. 14. We hope this event will attract former players to be involved in supporting the baseball program here at Landrum High School. We have a rich tradition of baseball, and we want all of our former players to be recognized and appreciated for their part in creating this legacy. Our mission is to get more former players to attend our games and be involved in our program through supporting fundraisers and other team events.

The tentative schedule of events includes:
9-9:30 a.m. Warm-up, welcome and introductions
9:30-11:30 a.m. Game 1: Alumni Classes 2000-2014 vs. Landrum Varsity
11:30-11:45 a.m. Warm-up time for Game 2
11:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m. Game 2: Alumni Classes pre-2000 vs. Landrum Junior Varsity
1:15 a.m.-2:15 p.m. Home Run Derby
2:30 p.m. Closing

The cost to participate in the alumni games is $20 and each participant will receive a T-shirt and lunch. The cost to enter the Home Run Derby is $10 for 10 swings. The winner will receive a Landrum polo shirt or sweatshirt.  Concessions, including freshly grilled hot dogs, chips, and drinks, and souvenirs such as Landrum baseball hats and other athletic apparel will be available for purchase.
