From Oct. 5-19, 2014, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office answered 248 calls. There were 12 citations issued, 11 felony arrests, 12 misdemeanor arrests, 42 civil papers served and 22 criminal papers served. Officers completed 386 house checks, 515 church checks, 859 business checks, assisted the public 12 times and patrolled 11,160 miles.
