The sixth annual Scholars Golf Tournament sponsored by the Polk County campus of the Isothermal Community College Foundation will be held on Monday, Oct. 20 at Bright’s Creek Country Club. Funds raised will benefit the New Century Scholars program in our county, general scholarship programs and day-to-day discretionary needs of the Polk campus.

The community has a number of ways to participate such as playing in the tournament, becoming a flag or hole sponsor to promote your business or simply making cash contributions. Any support of this tournament will help keep higher education readily accessible to young people in Polk County, especially for those in financial need.

For more information, email PolkCountyICCFoundation@gmail.com, call Thad Harrill at 828-395-1624 or stop by the ICC Polk campus as 1255 West Mill St. (Hwy. 108) in Columbus.
