The Carolina Bulls seventh grade traveling basketball team won the American Youth Basketball Association National Championship last week in Charlotte, N.C. 
The team beat New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia, Maryland and defeated North Carolina in the championship game.  The Bulls current record for the season is 39-2.  
Local players include Trey Smith from Campobello/ Landrum, Joey Wert from Inman, Joey and Zach Baldinelli from Inman, Owen Chapman from Inman and Turner Ussery from Campobello/ Landrum.
