Polk County Recreation Department offers an Afterschool/School’s Out Program during the school year. The program consists of two parts: an after school care from 3  –  6 p.m. on days that school is in session and a school’s out care from 7 a.m  – 6 p.m. for teacher work days, some holidays and other days school is not in session.

The Afterschool/School’s Out Program is set to begin on Monday, Aug. 25, the first day of school for Polk County Schools. For more information and for a registration form, visit www.polknc.org.
