Monday, Aug. 25 from 5 p.m.-6:45 p.m., Slow Food Asheville Foothills invites the
community to convene at La Bouteille for a mini potluck before the presentation of
the film Farmland at Tryon Little Theatre.
The “stand-up” potluck will be based around finger foods (appetizers to desserts). It
is a free event, open to the community. Just as with other potlucks, attendee’s are
encouraged to bring a fresh, seasonal dish to share with others. Slow Food will
provide plates and napkins for all as well as a fruit-herb infused water. La Bouteille
will have beer and wine available for purchase and will be highlighting local,
specialty brands.
Slow Food Asheville Foothills is part of an international, grassroots organization
that believes clean, fair food is a right for everyone. We promote local, seasonal
eating and are active in the community supporting education to all ages in preparing
and identifying healthy, sustainable food options. To learn more about Slow Food,
