Polk County District Court results for Aug. 6

During Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2014, with Judge Athena F. Brooks presiding, 152 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Jacob C. Baumberger was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Baumberger was sentenced to seven days in jail with credit for time served.
Anthony J. Bounopane was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Bounopane was fined $100 and court costs.
Lewis Ray Bumgarner was convicted of impaired equipment. Bumgarner was fined $40 and court costs.
Erik Zachary Charping was convicted of probation violation. Charping was sentenced to 43 days in jail with credit for time served.
Angela Sims Hensley was convicted of level four driving while impaired. Hensley was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, two days in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.
Daniel Walter Horton was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Horton was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.
Emily Calyn Jones was convicted of impaired equipment. Jones was fined $40 and court costs.
Sean Winston Lawter was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Lawter was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, one day in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.
Dorothy Aile Mayfield was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Mayfield was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Lawrence Jake McClain was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. McClain was fined $100 and court costs.
Reginalde Merritt Jr. was convicted of speeding 70 mph in a 65 mph zone. Merritt was fined $30 and court costs.
Jerry Stephen Metcalf was convicted of impaired equipment. Metcalf was fined $40 and court costs.
Richard L. Mosgrove was convicted of impaired equipment. Mosgrove was fined $40 and court costs.
Lucas Travis Ravan was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Ravan was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Patricia Ann Siuda was convicted of failure to appear. Siuda was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Joseph Daniel Smith was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Smith was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
J. R. Street was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Street was fined $30 and court costs.
Hollys Lavon Williams was convicted of failure to notify DMV of address change. Williams was fined $30 and court costs.
