Daniel Bruce Wilson, 67, of Polk County N.C. died July 27 2014.

Dan Wilson, son of Robert Amos and Ruby Wilson, passed away Sunday while in hospice care in Tucson, Ariz. after a long struggle with Parkinson’s. He is survived by his brother Bob of Chatsworth Ga. and his family, ex-wife and friend Rebecca, son Zachary, and his wife Rhuta, all of Tucson, Ariz. Dan worked as an ESL teacher until his retirement, bringing his enjoyment of teaching together with his love of language. He also was an accomplished woodworker, writer, inventor and world traveler. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Services will be held this Friday at Marana Mortuary & Cemetery north of Tucson at 9 a.m.
