A perfect day was welcome on Saturday, July 26, as Bigs and Littles attended the Big Brothers Big Sisters annual pool party and picnic. Not only was the weather was perfect, so was the food and company.

A few Bigs braved the crowd of kids in the pool while most watched carefully while visiting with other volunteers in the shade nearby.

The Littles had a fabulous time, with one proclaiming over and over, “this was the best time

I ever had in my whole life!” It just can’t get any better than that.

Big Brothers Big Sisters is very grateful to hosts John and Shawn Matthew for again sharing their backyard paradise and providing a wonderful hot dog picnic.

Bigs Lin Savage, Anthony & Mollie LeBude, Sue Anderson and her Little Sister Nathalie, all brought homemade goodies to share. BiLo of Columbus generously contributed paper plates, watermelon, lemonade and cookies to complete the fare.

BBBS really appreciates the volunteers taking the time to share with their Littles. The Bigs make these children feel so very special.
