I refuse to say thank you.
No one deserves a thank you. At the very least, they deserve a slap on the wrist. But a public apology for their poor decision-making would suffice. It was a horrid display of ignorance that has brought negative attention to your party, as well as Columbus.
I’m thankful that my child did not see it, because I for one would have been very vocal about my disappointment. If we are going to promote a family friendly town, then decisions about event displays should be considered more carefully.
Selling t-shirts with weapons and words of hate is not family friendly. Throwing balls, whether for a dunk tank or not, at our presidents face is not family friendly. It’s an ignorant and shameful display of opinionated people with a poor sense of humor.
