Healthy cooking classes in time to re-enforce New Year’s resolutions
Published 10:00 pm Thursday, June 26, 2014
The next healthy cooking class offered by Foothills Wellness Center will be on Wednesday, July 2 at 6 p.m. The classes are held the first Wednesday of each month at the Polk County Extension Office demonstration kitchen located at 60 Gibson St. in Columbus, N.C.
The cooking classes have a simple objective: to teach home cooks a few basic techniques, strategies and perspectives so healthy cooking is fun, creative and entirely doable. To achieve this objective, classes and the menus chosen will emphasize healthy everyday cooking and follow the Loomis Enzyme Therapy Nutritional plan.
Learn how to compliment weight loss, fitness goals or continue that New Year’s resolution by learning how to fuel your body the right way with these nutritional and cooking classes.
