Polk County District Court results for May 14

During Polk County District Court on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, with Judge Pete Knight presiding, 154 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Melissa Ann Blackwell was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Blackwell was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Alex Chase Casler was convicted of misdemeanor larceny and misdemeanor larceny by trick. Casler was sentenced to eight days in jail with credit for time served and court costs.
Kevin Michael Eckenrode was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Eckenrode was fined $100 and court costs.
Serapia B. Gonzalez was convicted of no operator’s license. Gonzalez was fined $50 and court costs.
Amber Nicole Holt was convicted of dispose of dead domesticated animal. Holt was fined $100 and court costs.
Rachel Marie Japp was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Japp was fined $40 and court costs.
Kayla Victoria Jones was convicted of misdemeanor larceny. Jones was sentenced to 14 days in jail with credit for time served and court costs.
George D. Karademitros was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Karademitros was fined $100 and court costs.
Preston H. McEntire was convicted of level five driving while impaired. McEntire was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Gamaliel Avell Molina was convicted of no operator’s license. Molina was to pay court costs.
Pamela Lee Pearson was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Pearson was fined $30 and court costs.
Joshua Terrence Ruff was convicted of maintain a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance and manufacture liquor with no permit. Ruff was sentenced to two years supervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Marlon Shane Ruff was convicted of misdemeanor probation violation. Ruff was sentenced to 120 days in jail with credit for 101 days.
Kent Morgan Shehan was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Shehan was sentenced to two years unsupervised probation, a $175 fine and court costs.
Theodore C. Washington was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Washington was fined $40 and court costs.
Aaron L. Wuchner was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Wuchner was to pay court costs.
Tammy Louise Yoho was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Yoho was fined $100 and court costs.
Mindy Gonzalez Zelaya was convicted of no operator’s license. Zelaya was fined $50 and court costs.
