La Bouteille, wine and beer boutique, will present a complimentary wine tasting this Friday, May 9, from 5 – 7 p.m., featuring one of Tryon’s  up and coming wineries – Mountain Brook Vineyards.
Dennis Lanahan, founder and owner, will proudly showcase his 2012 chardonnay, which recently won a Silver medal in the 14th annual Finger Lakes International Wine Competition held in Rochester, N.Y., among 3,756 wines entries from 50 states and twenty different countries. Also to be sampled are his red wines – Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Wine Tastings and Tours are also available at the Mountain Brook Winery located at 731 Philips Dairy Road in Tryon 828-817-4376.
Everyone is invited to drop in this Friday,  5 – 7 p.m. to come sample a Polk county winner, and meet and greet the man behind it – Dennis Lanahan. La Bouteille is located at 10 N Trade St., Downtown Tryon (828-589-6473).
