In May, Cooperative Extension Service will celebrate its 100th anniversary. At this springs 4-H BBQ there will be a display on the history of Extension in Polk County. Come out and have supper with us and share in the memories of the Polk County Cooperative Extension Service.
The 4-H BBQ Supper will take place on Friday, April 25 at the 4-H Center from 4:30 – 7 p.m. The supper is a semi annual event used to raise money for 4-H Programing. Supper consists of BBQ chicken or roast beef, baked potato, coleslaw, drink and dessert.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at the Extension Office, 828-894-8218.
