Bulletproof vest for Ike

PCSO K-9 Officer Ronnie Russell and K-9 “Ike” display a new bulletproof and stab proof vest for “Ike” purchased through donations by a group of citizens in Polk County.
ronnie-newBWThe cost of the vest was approximately $1,000. The purchase of the vest means that both K-9’s at the Polk County Sheriff’s Office have up-to-date vests for their protection while on duty.
“I greatly appreciate the donations,” says Sheriff Donald Hill. “Our citizens continue to make a difference in our county and this is just another example of the great partnership our office has with those we serve.”
