Planet In Distress Seminar slated for March 21 and 22 at Tryon Seventh-day Adventist Church

What is the link between Bible prophecy and the marked increase the world is seeing in floods, fires, hurricanes, extreme weather, pestilence, famine and other disasters? What one thing is the root cause of the accelerating decline we see in the natural systems that sustain life on earth (our oceanic, fresh water, food production, climate, atmospheric systems, etc.)?
This seminar series explores the accelerating confluence of challenges the world is facing: oceans in precipitous decline, farm soils around the world increasingly degraded, accelerating water shortages and drought, ominous changes to our atmospheric and climate systems, and disasters and extreme weather becoming far more common. The seminar then looks at emerging conflict stemming from the state of our global complex society and growing worldwide resource shortages and connects all of the above to Bible prophecy.
Join author Scott Christiansen as he articulates cutting-edge thinking in the Christian world and connects the dots between Bible prophecy, the state of the natural world and the state of human society. Find out what started the decline of the earth, how it will all end and what the Bible says will happen next.
Friday, March 21 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, March 22 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. There will be complimentary lunch between the 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. presentations. Call 828-894-5072 if you would like more information.
